Cross Country

Grades 6-8

Welcome to 2025 middle school cross country running! Cross country provides athletes an opportunity to increase confidence and endurance, enjoy the outdoors, and have fun. The races are a little over a mile and run on beautiful courses (parks, golf courses, etc.).

Girls in grades 7 and 8 have the opportunity to participate with the high school team if they meet the performance criteria and have been contacted by the high school coach: high school athletics

Sept. 3 (first day of practice)-mid-October
 

Practice

  • Monday-Thursday from 4:15-5:30 p.m.
  • Both schools practice at Mariner MS. After-school transportation is provided from Central to Mariner. Runners take the activity bus home after practice.
