The White Bear Area Senior Center is located inside the District Service Center at Sunrise Park, 2399 Cedar Ave, White Bear Lake.
From Cedar turn north onto Cranbrook Drive. The entrance is on the northwest side of the building off of Cranbrook Drive & Roth Place, by the tennis courts. Inside the building entrance the Senior Center is on the left.
The Voice newsletter is a free quarterly newsletter for adults 55+. Inside you will find Community Education & Recreation classes, special events, program resources, and local community events.

Meals on Wheels is a community service that delivers nutritious meals to your home with the help of volunteers. This service is available to all persons regardless of age or ability. It is a wonderful way for individuals to stay connected to their communities, remain healthy, and live independently, for as long as possible, as well as those with a short-term need for meals after a hospitalization/surgery.
Meals on Wheels has been delivering nutritious meals for 51 years. Our friendly volunteers have had a background check to provide you peace of mind and a connection with the community.
Community volunteers deliver meals at lunchtime, Monday through Friday. You may choose hot meals, fresh, frozen, or a combination. Frozen meals are delivered once a week. Hot or fresh meals are delivered daily. Special diets are available, including, but not limited to, diabetic, low cholesterol, gluten-free, and renal. Each meal provides a minimum of 1/3 of the current daily recommended dietary allowances.
A typical meal includes a main entrée with a protein (meat), two vegetables (possibly a side salad), a beverage choice of 1% milk or juice, bread, and dessert. All meals come with condiments to complete the meal.
Meals are provided at a reduced rate due to generous donations from participants, foundations, and the wider community, and also through support of the White Bear Lake Area School District, Consortium of Lake Area Senior Services, Ramsey County, Metro Meals on Wheels, local Lions Clubs, and others.

According to Minnesota State Law, people age 55 and older who complete a state-approved defensive driving course are eligible to receive a 10 percent, three-year discount on auto insurance.
The course was developed by the National Safety Council to refresh basic crash prevention techniques and to reduce traffic violations and incidents. It is taught by experienced, professional traffic safety instructors, including officers of the Minnesota State Patrol. The class consists of lecture, films, and discussions. There is no behind-the-wheel driving and there are no tests. After your class, you will receive a certificate of completion to give to your insurance company.

Get Up & Go Fitness
Participate in our Aerobics class to improve endurance, flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination at a slower, less vigorous tempo.
Too busy to make it every class? That is OK! We use a Punch Card system - pay now, but attend attend when you can, without losing your money.

Got a knack for crafting? Turn your hobby into extra income as a consignee! Open to adults 50+, this is a chance to share your hand made creations with the community. A small portion of sales is donated to the senior program; the rest is paid to the consignee.
